video is really neat! looks like some fun in the wind.

very similar to GPWs "Blu Ripper," but this one looks more geared to 3D/crazy aerobatics with the larger surfaces.

Wow that is something. I've never seen the Blu Ripper until now, but it looks pretty cool too. Your right, this plane is definitely more for aerobatics though.

Hi Don,
My website is now updated and answers those questions.
Check it out at www.3DMONDESIGNS.com

Thanks.

Both the kits and free plans are now posted.

Jeff,
Thanks for the link. I think you guys will see there are plenty of differences between the Lil' Ripper and the Blu Ripper. Only thing is I wish I would have known about it sooner. I think I would have called mine a different name because of it lol. I'm sticking with the name though because I really think it suits the plane well.

dang, wish I had my phlatprinter already!

I like full fuse 3D planes since they're much stiffer and just plain look better. they obviously tend to be a bit heavier than profile, but this one looks like it has a nice big square wing.

If I were to cut this out by hand would you recommend me just skipping all the tabs? or it it not too hard...

Hey Jeff,
I'd keep the tabs and slots in there. It really helps make sure things are lined up right. I know when I use to cut plans out by hand doing the tab and slots with the knife wasn't too much trouble, it just takes a little longer.
I've found the 3mm and 6mm lightweight version weighs the same as a 6mm profile but as you said it is a lot stiffer.
