Went to fly it last night and well I made the landing gear too soft by using (4) of the (8) o-ring bands in the gear. I thought (8) was too stiff but didn't think about the weight of the battery or wings. I would taxi and make it 20-30' then the gear would flatten out pretty bad. So went home and I added the o-rings back so the gear should be stiff enough now when its RTF.

Also made the top of the instrument panel black so now the nose doesn't look so long since the white used to extend back under the wind shield. I'll try to get someone to take in-flight pics with my camera at the field.

Looking good!

You've done a great job...get some wing struts on her and you're done...

Then, it's time to just fly it and have fun

Nice work

That old Cub looks new, and sweet. Nice choice of landing gear, cowl looks great, how is she flying? How did you mount the battery and did you put venting in the cabin to keep things cool?

Battery sits where the fuel tank was with foam pad infront of it and below it then velcro straps holding it down and pushing it forward. Would like to come up with a battery hatch in front of the gear and behind so I can leave the wings on then make struts for it. ESC is on top of the battery and wires go through a hole already in the firewall. Not much if any air going over the battery but battery barely gets warm after a 9 min flight doing mild aerobatics and lazy flying.
