Wattage Stuka

It looks like the new Stuka from Wattage might be a winner. The "scale" ailerons look pretty good but the cobalt motor would probably be of no use. It seems to have a fiberglass fuse so it wouldn't be as heavy as some of their previous offerings.

Actually, Hobby People is planning on carring it sans the Cobalt .

Looks like a nice kit for an Outrunner & a 3s2100 pack.

I initially contacted Hobby People about this model a good month or so ago. Like previously mentioned I was told they had no plans to stock the plane for sale in the USA anytime soon.

I stressed this in a previous thread. I also mentioned if you wanted to see this kit in the USA to call/mail Hobby People.

Well obviously it worked. I got a phone call shortly after these initial posts from Global telling me to look for the kit by late November. I have had it on backorder since then and I hope to drop a nice Mega in it as soon as it comes.

Letís hope itís a winner!

So who will put a bomb drop on theirs?

I have the plane on order and that is one of the first things I am going to do. Just can't have a Stuka that does not drop a bomb.

I agree. I have several graupner bomb drops but not sure if they are too big. I'm not going through the hassle of a scale trapeeze style bomb drop.

Oh yeah the trapeeze would not be worth it but the graupner of a home built one for sure.

Wonder if the plane is big enough to drop an egg?

Just make sure the egg is not hard boiled or you'll need a license to fly your Stuka! It would make an eggcellent dive bomber!

Of course the eggs would be raw. :-)

But I have always wanted to dive bomb with an egg.

Oh you know what else would be cool put a mini camera in the pilots seat when you make the bombing run.
