Thanks, again. I only wish my flying skill is just as good ... the video will either be a boring maiden or a heartbreaking crash

I have destroyed mine today
My tx slips off the floor without damage but I did not see that the dual rate switch move....
My original settings were 85% -20% expo but I flies with 130% +30%

Does anybody know the f22 size on the full pdf plan for tomhe f22 I have downloaded it on a flash drive and want to go to staples to print out so I can make templates of this plane. I have 2 of the QB f22 from 6mmflyrc which fly great. Thought I would make a couple out DTF board.
Thanks for any info Jimmy

This is fifth Tomhe F22 over the years. Slow flying and tight loops today.

While browsing this thread for CG i stumbled across a corroplast version..

This is mine.. slightly smaller at 640mm span. Built with 2mm corro.

Bare airframe weight is 162g. (but still need to add a 2mm corbon rod or 2 in strategic places)

It was specifically scaled to suit hardware found at my LHS.. simply cos our postal service is un-reliable and HK orders is a bit of a gamble sometimes..

Power will be CF2212 on 3cell. I managed to get the slot to accept a 6" prop so will start with a 6x4 APC style

Maidened.. and i can see why the F22 is so widely raved about! Awesome flying machine!

Despite being built with corex i managed to keep the weight down on this one so its got all the best flying properties of a slot-jet platform... AND the cool properties of correx!

On one of the low passes i got a bit too brave (stupid) and slammed it into the deck! Took a few tumbles that would just about destroyed a depron airy.. picked it up, pulled the grass out the prop and chucked it! No ill effects!

This plane runs on 3S and the legendary Turnigy D2826/6 2200KV motor running a 6x4 prop.

My video has all the specs at the beginning.

She is a great flyer but it is important to build light to get good hover abilities (mine is too heavy built from Australian DTF).

Also she is not fast so do not expect a speed machine. this is a plane for flying low, slow and close with awesome aerobatic abilities.
