Hanger 9 Spitfire 60 MkII wing rebuild question?
I have a technical question about this wing's rebuild.
I'm rebuilding a left outer wing section of a H9 Spitfire 60 and I have noticed couple degrees of washout at the left wing tip.
Problem is, when I look at intact undamaged right wing tip, I don't see any washout built into it!. The trailing edge spar on left side is intact, just 4 outboard rib and part of main spars got damaged in a crash. So far I have fabricated newer ribs and will rebuild both top and bottom main spars.
So is there any washout at the wing tips of both wings, or there isn't any or i'm getting optical illusion here?
I will appreciate help from the guys who have rebuilt wings of there H9 Spitfire 60 MKII's in past.
