I didn't know about the baking soda. How do you apply it. What is a good CA? I use Zap a Gap for kit building when model railroading.

I ran out of accelerator a few week ago, in the middle of a project, late at night and just filled the accelerator bottle with water. Worked good but the next day I bought some at a hobby shop.

I use bakeing soda to install CF spars and such...cut the groove, lay down some soda and "work" into the slot, rub some on the spar, install the spar and CA in. Same scenario on "pocket" type connections.
