BAy Area EP Heli fly in ?

Hey guys (Roger, Jim, Tony), it is mid July and nothing has been posted for a indoor or outdoor EP Heli fly in yet.

Is anything in the working phase or coming up?

Hey Fred, LTNS...

I keep forgetting to ask Kasra about this, not sure if I'm gonna make it out to RSA tonight, maybe wed.

I'll ask him then, or perhaps if Jim sees him sooner?

Hi Fred,

Most of the gyms are booked until September, so we're on hold until then.

Well I havn't been able to fly for about a month so I would'nt have been able to make it to any indoors anyway but I have a futaba 9CH on its way so I should be back in the air soon if none of my electronics give me any problems... My piccolo should fly great so I am interested in any indoor meets. Last I heard was that the palo alto gym was to be going through some construction so kasra was looking for alternatives but I guess nothing was found then? Maybe you already knew this....

Yep, I talked to Kasra about a week ago, and he said the Palo Alto gym is being renovated and he couldn't find a suitable location, so PA funflies are suspended for a bit.

In lieu of a Palo Alto, I've been checking into CSM's (College of San Mateo) facilities. They have a large (almost twice the width of LHS') basketball court as well as a smaller gym.

Last I spoke with someone there, they may have Monday and Wednesday nights available. I have the number of the Dean' office and I'll be contacting him tomorrow.

Good, interest is still there

To bad the Cow Palace or some thing that didn't have an open evening.

Anyone work somewhere like that?

We could do Logos and Jokers then!!
