Hi,

Is there anyone here to explain how this camera is fixed on the fuselage?
What do you guys use? Velcro ? rubber band ? Tape ? ...

This would be to put on the Dynam J3 Piper 1245mm model.

Thanks.

The easiest way would be to use velcro, or simply hot glue the camera onto the plane.

A harder and more secure way would be to make a small plastic box what you can mount to the plane and insert the camera into. Or make a small mount with a tripod screw and glue that to the plane.

Hi Raiden, and thanks for your reply.

I haven't yet received the Piper (just ordered last weekend), so I will wait to have it in hands to see what options works best.

I like the velcro idea for the ease of use without altering the plane too much. I do not want to fly with the camera all the time, and would rather prefer having a way to strap / unstrap as desired.

Thanks!

Can this thing take timed photos? or just a single shoot per push of button?

This camera doesn't have the ability to take timed photos, it'll only take a photo if you push the button.

OK, then I will need to rig a servo to push the button.

Thanks for the info, I will have to find another camera.
