Hope that X8C or TY923 will success like V262. After that spare parts (motors, props and other) will come to stores. Then we need to test the motor and design new motor housing for V262.

I've owned my v262 for a year now, and it was the best $100 that I ever spent. This quad has been an absolute joy to fly.. I stripped it down after a couple flights, tossed the foam, added some LEDs, and flew it with a soda bottle canopy for a while.. Motors burnt after 50 flights, this was expected, knowing that these motors are notorious and I flew it during some fairly warm summer days...

Replaced the motors and ordered 8 more for backup. Put maybe 10 flights in on the new motors, and she has been hanging on the wall ever since..

Got distracted flying FP helis for a while, but my true love is still for multirotors. This summer I was wanting to try my hand at some FPV, possibly build a 250mm brushless setup. But before spending the time and money, I wanted to see if I could work with something I already had. So I decided to strap a FS Teleporter kit on it.. The FPV gear added approximately 80g to the weight of the quad, and I still have a few corners where I can trim some fat, although she should have no problem lifting her new payload. Probably gonna eat through motors ALOT faster now, its a good thing I have a box full of spares.

Haven't had a chance to take her out for the re-maiden yet, been cold and windy here, but indoor hover tests confirm all systems are go. Just need to get it out in the open so I can get the lens focused and get her all tuned in.

T Breezie, if you don't mind, what did the FPV gear cost you?

I bought the Fatshark Teleporter v3 kit, cost me around $230.. I also have a set of the FS spironet antennas coming soon, most people recommend upgrading from the stock linear antennas.. Quads tend to have "pitchy" flight characteristics, which can cause cross polarization in your video feed.

Thanks T Breezie. I'm considering trying FPV, with my V912, V262, and/or with a FY326 I've ordered. Your V262 setup looks interesting.

I found no fault with quads flying just those motors.

Want to do it the goggles way. Used to dream while asleep as a kid of flying. Had many repeat and sequentially more proficient flights, very realistic, and almost nightly, until I didn't any longer. I miss'em. This may be a way to bring them back, in a way.

I just got the V262 today, and I really like it so far. The wind is terrible, so it's only been up for a quick hover, but I have noticed a few things....
First, I had to use the tx that came with it, it won't bind to my 913 tx (also used for 912, 911)
Second, it seems to turn really slow in comparison to other movements.
I am looking forward to a good flight day so I can see what it will really do.
