ROFL, excellent Beaver in the net. Ya, I do like the Beaver on 3S. The crazy pitch rate of the MXS-C just makes me smile.

beaver carries enough weight/drag that 3s is the only way to fly it in my mind, I didnt build mine so the throws are not maxed out like I would like them to be, but since I have almost flown the wing off it, soon I can make the adjustments I want to lol. The glue joint that holds the wing on is slowly pulling apart, I dont care how good welders is.......it cant take the abuse I like to put on it sometimes.

Agreed. 3S FTW Mine has pretty good throw and is great fun. No doubt about it. Yes, fly the wings off and assemble another one. That's the cycle of fun.

Right now, the MXS-C is just scratching my high energy 3D itch.

I'm subscribed to both the 39" Yak and Edge threads, but the Yak thread seems more active. Would it be fair to assume the 39 Yak is a better flyer or would it be like me saying the 32 Yak is a little more extreme than the 32 Slick? (I only have experience with 32's and CP to date)

Maybe the edge thread less active cause people are too busy to post when having fun with their edge

32" MXS-C vs. the 24" MXS-C Mini...

Hi guys, can anyone answer a quick question on the 32" MXS-C vs. the 24" MXS-C Mini for me? For those that have flown both, is one clearly more suited to a smallish backyard for someone fairly new to 3D than the other? Is one slower/floatier or more manouverable in a small space than the other, or are they about the same?

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Ben.

I picked the 39" CY over the Edge based on this statement from the TH website: "This is a fresh new ground up re-design". Also I like how Chris Jewett's planes fly.

Given that an aircraft is a collection of flying compromises, I'm sure they differ slightly in certain aspects of flight.

Buy both and do a shoot out.
