It would also be very nice if it has retractable landing gear but what would I expect for the price asked for model?

Don't hold your breath on an airframe only version from HC. You can buy the same plane though from EJF although not EPO.

Is it possible to fit this frame with two smaller EDFs verse the one larger one?

Yes it is. Check out the EDO F-15 thread. Corsair Nut put two smaller fans in the EDO although the final product was pretty heavy.

Keep in mind you will have entirely new ducting if you want to install 2 fans. Also you will have to split the airframe down the middle along the glue seam in order to get access to the ducting. It's all detailed in the EDO thread.

I understand, If I get one, it would be just for the novelty of doing it.

At $75 and being EPO, even with the $57 EMS to Aus I'm treating this as an AF only, I'll be stripping it down and doing some substantial re-work.

It will be interesting to see if HK ever stocks spares for most of these 70 odd buck ARF foam kits they are coming out with. I doubt it.
