Also, it seems like this thing uses the exact same motors as the nano qx. Just uses a different connector and the motor for the lower gear seems to use a longer stator. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to mod the mmw qx motors to work on the mcx2.

I believe the setting I posted all work in conjunction with one another.

When I had my DX6i I dialed in those exact numbers and never had a problem. I also installed an MSR swash which gave it more throw. I'd fly her outside as long as the wind wasn't too bad.

IE: Motors. Sorry can't help you there. I've always replaced the motors with stock motors.

Mike.

How hard is it to pull this thing into the death wobble? If you pull on the aileron hard enough during a hover without turning will it do it? I'm just trying to figure out where I'm going wrong here.

I've heard that a cnc swash can really help just due to it eliminating the slop. Just not really sure.

Probably not but, if you were moving forward then yes. You just have to fly the heli until you get to know it's capabilities.

In Bold: This is known as "stick slamming." You have to be smooth with the sticks especially in turns.

Works well. One issue that I am having is that when using the longer balls on the swash if I hit the aleron too hard on one side it can go straight into the death wobble. I knew to expect that but I thought that you should have to hit the aleron during a hard turn in the same direction. I see people even setting up the tx to have the servos go over 100.

Should I be looking at the swashplate? Not really sure where to start.

Death wobble is induced by the way the rudder action works on a coaxial with a flybar. On this coaxial it's always going to happen with hard left rudder. Aileron doesn't even enter the picture. See the vid I posted a few pages back (post #3528) and read the discussion leading up to it for an explanation, starting at #3517.

The MCX2 is notorious for drifting to the left while going forward. You can mix this out. Use this for MIX1:

MIX1
ELE>AIL
-35% 0%
SW: ON

Play with these settings till it goes straight. If it drifts the other way use +35.
