Hello all, I've just received my Slow Hawk Version 1 from a board member and I'm looking for the correct battery to get for it. The instructions said to use 7 cell 720mah nimh 8.4 volt battery or a 3s lipo. It has a Pixie 14 esc. If someone could point me to a battery to buy that would be fantastic. I'm also curious about the reciever... It says any 2.4 gig would work I was wondering if I could take the one from my Dynam Hawksky and use it along with the radio. Or can someone reccomend a decent setup as far as Rx and T x. Thanks!

i have a hobbyking 2.4gig radio there cheap but good alsodoes it have a brushed or brushless motor so i can tell you which battery if it brushed a 3cell 1000 to 1300 mah i just looked in the other thread 3cell 1000 to 1300 is fine as it has a brushed motor just dont give full throttle when the battery is fully charged

Ah ok cool. The battery connector that's on the Pixie 14 looks completely different than anything I've seen. I'll take pic and post it up. What I'm wondering is would I have to change the connector on the pixie or no?
