Vortex 5 is available for electric system.
Simple and light weight design provides awesome flight performance and extreme 3D capability.

Vortex 5 adopted tail rotor belt drive system which make the helicopter more cheaper than shaft drive system and more easy for reparing.



Main Rotor head
With thrust bearing on main rotor head
Typical CCPM swashplate system which easy for pilot to control the helicopter on flying when you are operating 3D flying with fast speed.









Frame Part
Rigid carbon fiber frame design
Very easy for repairing when got unexpected crash!

Looking at the frame carefully. the size of servo mount tell you that standard servo are needed to drive directly.




Battery tray designed close to the rotor head makes it more easy to control gravity center of the helicopter.

Tail Rotor Head
Tail rotor head run with thrust bearing.
Rear tail servo mount been set on tail boom which makes it more convenient to adjust the linkage of tail servo, making tail drive rapidly

I have never been to crazy about belt..But this i like. Seems very locked in. Better looking then the jr500. How much ? Have a link ?

Thank you for you're kind words. I'm looking forward of this helicopter for testing. It's not out yet we'll keep you posted. I'm not sure on the price. But this helicopter will impress you and you're friends! we will give more information soon. This can be setup for starter up to extreme 3d flights.

Belt: Belt is easy to maintain. Latest helicopter uses belt like Mikado Logo, SAB Goblin, JS Hobby Frenzy 3d, Thunder Tiger Rapter series. Yes belt could be very locked in as Torque Tube Drive. With Torque Tube once you land wrong you can bust teeth from umbrella gear and tail gears. But would love to see Torque Torque Tube down the future for this helicopter. Torque Tube would not be for starter that are new in the hobby. Belt is for both starter and 3d extreme flyers.

I like the canopy very much, it makes the heli fantastic at least from the ourlooking.

What I am concerning is how to wfly prove it's nice quality and performance compared with other brands?

That's why I join in. I've built over 10 helicopters. Let see......... Should I crash it into a cement wall? Once I built it and test it I will know quality. Especially flying. Clone screws are so cheap that they break half or strip threads. I built couple clones and eh not so great. Clone problem with they use the cheapest metal many people change out screws for align, they change feathering shaft and main shaft. Tail shaft and belt. Gears are warp. Clone plastic is weak. Hopefully this is not the case for World Fly 500. But it's on early stages so I'll inspect finding flaws. So once it's out hopefully all bugs are squash.

What is the flying weight? Also are you planning on a flybarless version?

Close to 4lb. And will it have flybarless version? Well..... I'll let WFLYRC to announce that. Flybarless is getting fairly
famous in Usa.

Yes, in order to follow up the trend of helicopter model market. It will comes out flybarless version after the release of flybar version--Vortex 5.

It is kinda Atom~ish, ain't it? The angled servos and some subtle changes in the cut-outs of the frame sides...thats what I see first.

I'd still like to see a price projection on the WFLY 500.
