That's it Spencer. I like to remember that there are hundreds of things that all have to work properly for us to launch fly and land. Everything from solder joints in radios, receivers, glue joints in pushrods, hinges, bolts, taped joints, joiners, plugs, etc etc etc and of course the weakest link ... our brains! I think we should consider it a sort of miracle when we go home with all the planes in one piece. Unfortunately the destruction, no matter how good you are, does happen.

I hate having to learn these things the expensive way. I really wanted to keep that K2m for a long time, hence I didn't push it at Tekapo, took the time to set it up nice, checked all linkages etc, extensive range checks, taped all plugs... Grr

In all seriousness, it is most likely because they are the ones closer to the gun, or more in-line with the gun! It sucks the line you have to take to get on the gun sometimes.

I have wondered about some one holding a gun on a pole with the trigger taped on, but would be hard to line up I suppose
