Two EL-1 flights in at 19 min 23 sec and 58 min 31 sec. Will do the landngs on Sunday.

That's right; the precision landing tasks must be launched to 200 meters.

launch height

How is it that there in a minimum launch height? I remember doing L1 and 2 landings for string launch LSF using about a 100 ft. launch, did I do it all wrong, was I supposed to go to the top of the winch line?

The SAP does not specify a minimum launch height, but it does require a minimum tow line length.

launch height

I did it correctly.
I used a 400 ft hi-start.
For eSAP I would prefer to use 100m for landing tasks.

I am traveling the country right now, but when I get home I will get started.

Sheesh, I thought I could get "Level I" done in one day but it was not to be. I didn't make the five minutes on one flight and missed a landing by a foot on another. I was running low on battery, all those climbs to 200m takes a lot of time. So I guess the next time I get to fly I should finish.
The main goal for the day wasn't LSF but was testing with ballast. The winds were gusting over 20kts and cloudy and I had 14 ounces of lead on board. Fun stuff.

Unless you went with the 15 minute slope option you can't do L1 in one day anyway.

I got out to the field this morning to fly with some of the electric and glow power guys, and they took a break to witness 5 spot landings and a 5 minute thermal flight. One more thermal flight to go, with 2 weeks before the ALES contest in Rhode Island. I should be able to squeeze that in and get the form postmarked within 2 weeks!
