Help!
IR - F22 Help!

I want to build a micro Pusher F-22.
Plans are no problem (there are several on the net that can be scaled!)

Motor = SS Red
Prop = GWS 2510 DD
Batt = 180 mAh single cell Li-Po

Need help/suggestions on electronics
I've the following available:
Transmitter:
Koichi 3ch TX
Receiver:
Koichi 3ch RX and Koichi 2ch RX

I have Actuators (no Servos!)

So far, all plans I came across use servos, thrust vectoring etc, etc.

Any suggestions/links/Ideas on how I could use what is available with me?
I don't care if it turns out to be a slowflyer, doesn't have to be acrobatic!

Thanks,
Raj

I've done several F22's (1mm depron and 1.3 mm epp) with acts and snap and fly gear. My epp version was lighter and more fun than the depron one. The only thing I would suggest regarding your gear is sanding the GWS prop thinner or going with a tri-turbofan prop.

Good luck, this is a fun plane.

Edit: a 180 mah battery seems pretty big for your gear but could work if you keep things lite.

the other thing is, most people use elevons when flying an f-22 model. does the koichi set have that mixing?
and as far as using acts instead of servos, thats not much of an issue, just ignore the cutouts and placement of the servos on the plan. build the model and place the gear where you think it should be and then test the center of gravity.

Thanks fmhans and derk,

The Koichi set does not have a mixing (That's the problem!)

OR
Is there any one who's written a program for mixing for koichi's 3CH Rx set?

Just found out that Koichi's RTX4 has elevon mixing but is out of stock at the time of writing this post

I think I'll have to think differently and work on a 2CH Tx with twin motor.
