Radian is perfect for night flight!

I recently converted the radian for night flight. It is by far the easiest and most enjoyable to fly at night out of my whole fleet. I only did the wings to give it a more misterious look in the air.

Here are some pics

I will post a video soon.

Thanks all

That is very cool.
Nice job.
How did you do it? What set-up did you use?
Cheers Mike

Hello Mike!

I used LED light strips wired to a 3 cell lipo. The draw is under an amp and you can see the bird from over a mile and a half away. I use sunglasses when flying to help diffuse the intensity. This is only a problem with blue though.

Thanks for your interest friend!

I purchased the LED light strips from EBay via 5M rolls. www.lazertoyz.com also sells LED lights for $5 per foot. I use a 900ma 3 cell lipo to power the lights. JST connectors connect the left and right wings. the right wing also has a connecctor that goes to the lipo in the cockpit. I will take close up pics in the future. I hpoe to make pre soldered light kits for the radian and the slow stick in the near future. PM me if anyone is interested.

Thanks all

Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to look into that.
That really looks like a lot of fun.
Cheers Mike
