Just received an EC-145 fun-scale fuse today, a mini review would follow later.

Wow... That is huge! I don't think it would fit into a medium heli tote bag!

The shade of Olive Drab looks better than the OH-6.

I kinda want one, but I don't like the color choices.

yes it is a big fuse, since i sold my BO105, i cannot compare it now
It uses 505 belt like the BO one. I like the color of it too

There are only 4 color choices; Recently i like another paint job, so i ordered this 'polizei' one from Kin with more scale details

Ohhhhh, so tempting to retire my pig-heavy 450 AH64 and use the airframe for this...nice long nose so it can balance well without resorting to gigantic packs to balance like the AH64. I'll be watching this build!

No need to cut boom. I`m useing a tarot 450 sport. They did cheap out on the 45 degree box pulleys. They are still plastic.

@ Bad Creation - The HeliArtist Huey is the only fuselage where the tail boom
needs to be cut.

Is the lower guide pulley smooth, or does it have teeth?
If it does have teeth, then I'm OK with it being plastic.

A smooth pulley is a huge problem, because the teeth on the
belt will quickly wear down the plastic!

yes, the design still have flaw, for better performance we still have to replace the smooth aluminium one with a grooved one which Blacktitanium made a thread before :
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1165117

Consolingly, this time we save some drillng work and two flanged bearing to fix it. , but the plastic one we still need to replace it by ourselves.

As mine just received in these few days, before he shipped it to me 'fung' told me i would get an updated pulley, so i think you may ask him if he can arrange replacement . Or using the DIY method from Blacktitanium
