If just bent, run it under hot water (below 95C) - it should bend back with some help. Press down any bobbled styrene with a cold spoon.

Hmm.. that is funny. Your "broken" wing looks exactly like the wing from my Skysurfer V3 (the bend is really high) but it's on both wings and it came from the factory like that. My perspective could be off but your "good" wing looks to me that the bend is slightly to small but that could be because of the V1 version.

Flyandi's right - the good wing tip looks too flat! Check to see if there are creases on the underside of that tip

That said, the 'bad' tip is definitely bent up - the creases in the decals show it.

Imagine the bobbles of foam are balloons - the creased side is full of deflated balloons, and the hot water will expand them again. Too hot, and it will expand them too much, so you need the cold spoon to smooth them down a bit whilst still warm.

Remove the decals, then fill a basin with hot water (I think 65C - 95C will do). Put the tip in until all the creases are submerged. The hotter the water, the faster you will see results. The compressed foam should re-expand, so the tip straightens.

Edit: mine's a MkI, but it's not in this house so I can't take pics to show the 'true' curve

LOL! I had to go right to the end just to see if you were going to land it on land, catch or dump it. Well done! Nice catch.
Now I'll watch the hole vid

That was a really nice catch. I gather you have done this before hopefully all were successful like that one.

I have talked to others that fly from their boats and most have a large net to snag it from the sky or water.

Boat launch

Thanks for the kind words! That flight was my second attempt at flying off my boat. This next clip was my first the day before. I was out on Juan De Fuca straight on my way to Victoria to run in a 10k. This time the boat was under way and traveling at about 5knts so a little slower ground speed for the guy catching it. A little longer then I like vids, sorry.
