That works until you are so far away there is just a blob in the sky. Given the speed and size that should happen a lot!

Great looking paint job!!! I also love the look of the aluminum on the tailpipe and the inlets. How difficult was it to get the aluminum to conform to the compound curved inlets?

i used mans tape just kidding mark! any pics of the completed bird? i know you already went like 120mph....and your just not saying anything...yours is going to be stupid fast on 320W. thats with the 8 blade i assume? and what motor....ill need to get one!

I have not been able to do much building this week but I wish I could be at the sepulveda basin (one of my favorite places on earth) with Jon and Brent tomorrow to chat planes and do some flying. Hope the weather cooperates for you! Have fun Jon and if you have time make sure to check out the local hobby shops.

Right on Bret ... I hope I can do you guys proud and get some decent media of your cool little design. The wx looks good, as far as no rain anyway. I am not sure about the winds forecast? Planning on meeting Brent around noon to one ... then on to see my buddy Hole Digger ... and then to the hotel over near Ontario. I should be able to upload stills, if I have any decent ones, there. Video will have to wait until I get home late Saturday or Sunday. Wish you could be there tomorrow too Bret!
