I'm not stock at all.

Tacon BigFoot 15 850kv
E-Flite 60
APC 11x8.5

Rocket on 4s! I'm not pushing it harder as I didn't put carbon rods in the wing.

Agree with DSheikh..........you will melt the stock setup on 4s.

However, if you're looking to squeeze a bit more performance out of the stock bird, change out the prop to the Parkzone Extra 300 prop. Major boost in performance without breaking the bank, or your plane.

Not what I'm currently running, but would make a nice combo nonetheless for those looking for good affordable 3s/4s setup.

i blew the dust off my jug this afternoon and hit the field for a few hours. i thought i may have forgotten how to fly as it's been a month since i've flown anything, and like 5 months since the jug burned up on the runway.

all went super smooth until my last flight. number 7 it was... halfway in the entire prop, nut, and adapter left the poor jug behind. i was about 100 feet up and a good 150 yards away so i floated her in as close as i could and dropped her down in the tall grass. cracked the cowl and cracked the wing. both merely cosmetic. a few drops of ca on the wing and a piece of packing tape on the cowl and we're good as she was this morning. as luck would have it my trusty wingmen retrieved the whole prop apparatus from deep in the field all in one piece. no good explanation for it's failure. i guess since i've cut back on pilot error the plane decided to test my will. i won.... again....
