Combining resistor values for SMD LEDs

I'm adding SMD LEDs to my plane and am using the usual calculator (http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz). However, the calculator shows a resistor for each LED, in my case a 56 Ohm. I'm wondering if it's possible to combine values and use only one 110 Ohm resistor with both negative lines tied to it?

I found a better calculator that has options to determine resistor values for multiple LEDs in series or parallel.
