Ir Fighting System (LaserTag Rc, Free)
Here is the IRc Fighting System (IFS). A new way of f(l)ight!
I always wanted a Laser Tag for Rc models. Thanks to Arduino platform and cheap components we can get a real lasertag.
Itís easy. Just buy an arduino or digispark, some components, soldering and it's over. I'm using the digispark because it's tiny and easy to program.
There are 2 codes, the first is a simple target, the second is the hunter wich can be hunt to...
I tried with my FrSky radio system and it works fine!
Arduino or digispark
Lens (if needed)
The PCB is designed to be used with a MMBF 170 (CMD BS170) and a CMD resistor (Value depend on your LED data).
I hunted the target at 30m with FPV plane and 100m ground to ground.
Enjoy and if you make changes, tell me to share.
I did this 4 years ago before I even knew about Arduino. it was my very first post on FPVLAB. I tend to the like 38kHz IR receivers. I imagine with an Arduino this would be far easier than my original design.
