no didn't run run any tests with it as it was a customers fan, however the JF90 pulls just slightly more than a midi pro so that would put it around 4kw settled and 100amps on 10s. I do run the same setup with a midi pro and it is 3.7 settled at 95amps

This is what Tam feels the Fan is capable of:
Over 4kw on 10s and 8s will be around 2600-2700 watts. So you had the fan can fly almost anything.
Maybe we can run them up on Monday and see what we get, it may be awhile until I get the Airworld Me262 airborne, I'm a slow builder. For that jet I am looking at the 8s setup anyway. 8kw would probably rip the wings off it!

I've got an airworld Me262 and a slow build as well. I'm planning to put Jetfan 90's in with Tams upgrades but I have a pair of Het 700-68-1680's for it but I may go with his full upgrade kit?

In trying to figure out which motor I wanted for my JF90, I came across video (link to post below) I PM'd Emile for more info on his set-up. Here's his reply.

I'm using 1,5 year old Turnigy Nanotech 4s5000 (45c/90c) 2x.
This setup pulls about 110amps at 3,25KW.
It's hard to say how much thrust it generates.
Inflight the Jetfan produces visibly more then shown in the graphs of ejets. I experience similar in my Habu.
A HET 700-68-1500 on 8s would be enough for good flight performance but for grass takeoff more power is welcome.
The setup perfoms fine but my next setup would be
10s4500 on HET 700-68-1200.

that plane is going to be so sweet... you need to get it done for wing of victory in july and LFE's warbird event

2 jetfan 90's at 4500w per side flew this 12ft, 43 lbs monster! lol it flew ok, but im going to 5" fans. the fact that it flew at all on these 90mm's is testament to their design!

Nice CN did you modify the airframe in any way? Can you describe the equipment used in your model.
