That MCT has the bottom hinged flaps, which I actually prefer. The lockout flap linkage set up the way I did it allowed for a true 90 degrees of flap travel. As good as it gets IMO.
If you set the linkages a little bit off from fully locked out, you still get the strength of locked out flaps, but you can also dial in reflex, or mix the flaps in with the ailerons.
I used heli ball linkages and aluminum arms on all my MCT/MCV builds.
The Opus hinges tended to delam after high speed DS, so I also wicked thin CA into all the hingelines of all the surfaces to keep this from ever happening.
This MCT is capable of going as fast as any MCT can go, guaranteed.
