what weight can supercub floats handle

The LHS is closing so i grabbed a pair of HH super cub floats for $10
I kind of want to built a DTFB bipe for them or a low wing civil plane what kind of weight and power can i get away with

I'd say 30 or 32 oz flying weight. Maybe slightly more, but you'd start to overload them.

Power doesn't matter. Weight and balance to the length of the fuselage do.

(Assuming these are for the 47" WS/25 oz. Super Cub)

well im keeping the fuse length the same and i think i can keep below that weight. Im building a 40'' bipe with the FT3D fuse

Not familiar with that model, but I assume it's a Flight Test S.P.A.D. type design.

The largest I have built using HZ floats is 56" wingspan and 48 oz. AUW, but I usually build them with 48" wingspan and 32-34 oz. AUW.
