sounds like a good strategy, I have the same problem!

That made me laugh. Yeah, cut back on the goodies.
This will be a great addition to the 3DHS line up!

Around town I carry the 87 and 2 30cc. But I leave the stabs on. The 87. But it will hold 2 50cc. I can get in more if packing for a trip

Motor, built for the da60 or the dle55(which may be the same size, not sure).
Can you say what motor you have in yours?

Thanks!
right, single servo aileron, 50-60cc, mine is on a da-60.

That's the one. Here is a link to the build thread. I highly recommend the part about dropping the axle and running the deck over the wheels, not using the fenders. I'm got a 68" width instead of 48". Makes a huge difference in space, does cost about 2 more sheets of ply. With the width I could put 2 50cc planes in head/toe toe/head without removing the stabs. 100cc easy if you remove the rudder, might be able to angle it and turn it one way.

Doing it over I might make the V in the front part of the main area. On mine it is an addon for wind and extra storage.

Man am i excited for this one. I will be putting the new Da70 twin on mine and am hoping they do a combo at 3dhs. Makes my life easier and since I have had 200 bucks worth of points I will be getting the shipping compliments of 3dhs points. I hope the cg is going to work out. One way or another it will.

As of march 2012, I had 5584 points. But I used enough of them at the time to pay the shipping on a 104 slick DA120 combo. I forgot about the rest of them and was looking at their site a couple weeks ago and went to my account and still have enough for another round of shipping. How sweet is that.

Looks great. Is that a homage to the Thunderbird motif?
