Thank you pdawg, that helps.

Any chance you would have a set of instructions. I picked one up a little while back from a friend and am trying to figure this thing out.

There has to be a million pieces to this thing..... I know I can figure it out just thought it would go faster if I had a road map.

It pays to have friends!

It really is a nice kit, super nice glass work. I'll get it going. Thanks so much for your help.

DL Aeromodels Cyclone Manual Available

I have the construction manual for the DL Aeromodels Cyclone and can PDF it if it would help. I have a partially built and much travelled DL Cyclone. Bought it in 1995 while in Europe with the Canadian Forces, brought it home and have worked on it on-and-off since then. I have both sets of wings built (I think they were Sport and Trainer with larger wingspan) and half of the fuselage work done for Dynamax / OS-91 and can measure everything if it will help. My plan now is to convert the Dynamax to EDF.
Manual says CG should be 38 inches from the nose, tanks empty.
Recommended control throws are:
Aileron 1/2 inch up and down
Elevator: 7/16 inch up and down
Rudder: 1/2 inch left and right.
Took a quick look in the crawl space but didn't trip over the plans. Will start a full search this week and post results.

I'm going to put a Dynamax converted to EDF in mine as well, it's moving along slow, stuff keeps getting in the way....Hey, I have a new name for my wife...Mrs. Stuff

Thanks for the information this really helps. I would love to get the PDF if it's not to much trouble.

keithtsr@yahoo.com if you get a chance. THANKS

Copy of Cyclone Manual Sent

PDF of the manual emailed this morning. Will advise when I finish prospecting in the crawl space for the plans etc. Hopefully this exercise will get me motivated to get back to work on my model.

seems like this jet need the fan moved aft and batt moved fwd ... may need new ducting so the batt could fit between the "Y" of the ducts.

When I first got the jet I had the same thought. I am going to make a hatch out of the canopy, I can stuff 2 6s 5000 down the hatch!!!

I hope I can get the cg close with this plan.

The old saying is there is no such thing as a dumb question.....I just screwed that theory up.
It's been a while since I read the post....

Dynodan, I have a copy of it if you need it, just let me know.

Thanks Kevin
