Gaui 330x issue

Hey all

I've been flying this 330 for a while now but decided to add extra batteries and electronics. My total flying weight is 1030gms which is under the 1100 max but when I fly it, it constantly oscillates (rolling). The oscillation is quite fast about once or twice a second. Any help would be appreciated.

Decrease the gain on the 344? Usually, heavier need more gain though for flyability.
ps I'm flying a Gaui 330x too, but only ? in the 800-900g AUW with 1- 3S 2200 mAh for apron 9 minute flight time.

Unless you've upgraded the motors and ESCs, that's too heavy. The 1100 max is a but on the boastful side.

Decreasing the gain will help, but it won't fly very well at that weight.

Oooops

So, I had reduced the gain on the 344 only to realize that I am using remote gain, duh, been a while since I flew it last and forgot I had the gear channel connected. When I checked the value on my DX8 they were both 100%, NOT GOOD. Anyway, long story short, I reduced the gain to 50% on both for the purposes of seeing a big difference. I did, and it flew great if not a little hard to control. I will increase the gain to about 70%-80% for the next series of flights and see If it easier to control but still keep the oscillation to a minimum.

As for being too heavy, it's appears fine to me. And with the batteries I have I should get a safe 17 minutes with 25% redundancy.

Thanks for the contributions.
