Pictures of Creamsicle

This is my contribution for Ice Cream on a stick, ( please don't let this happen to you ) It was really rough eating all that Ice Cream just to get 3000+ sticks, But I took my time . But I just wish I could get rid of the belly. Anyway here is what became of the Creamsicle/Popsicle sticks . Their is no balsa wood or filler, just Popsicle sticks

Well Henry. Clearly you were gripped by a powerful emotion. That's OK. People here make allowances for that kind of thing.

All the working bits appear to be there. So has she flown?

Happy New Year

Alec

You do beautiful work, Henry. Many of us don't do as well when we buy a box of conveniently cut balsa parts!

Cheers!

Creamsicle

Thank you both for the compliments . Their is a up and coming event not to far from me it's the Arizona Electric Festival on the 23rd-25th of this month in Apache Junction Az. My plan is to fly it there and have some pictures / video taken So far all I have done is taxi it around the parking lot. I am looking forward to the first flight. Thanks again for looking at my sticks, and please stay in touch.

Hank

Very 'Cool' Plane! Superb craftsmanship, especially the wheel pants! Remember....Keep the matches far...far.. away!

OK, this is very cool! I also have a "Creamsicle" (it's my avatar), but that's just because of the colors. It's a Radical RC Stick 600. Hope your Creamsicle flies as good as it looks, Henry.

Creamsicle back on the work bench

Took creamsicle to the field, but could not fly, I somehow made it to tail heavy. But
it did look good sitting on the table at the field Now I am in the process of
correcting the CG and ordering the film to re cover the fuse.

At least you found out before you flew it. I'm a little jealous. Here in Michigan there ain't no outdoor flyin' for at least another two months. Good luck on her maiden. Definitely post some pictures.

Moving the battery for a better CG

I moved the batt. from the top to the bottom and all the way forward to
the firewall and in doing so, I had to construct a battery box and a hinged door for access . I am still working on a spring loaded latch to hold the door
in place. So far everything is going my way Henry
