PIONEER troller

After a long time sitting on the shelf, I am now in the process of working on the troller model. The hull was from Ron Burchett at a scale of 1:12 and because it was 40' in length, the model is 40" with a 13" beam. As true with all Rons hulls, it is excellent and has the hull, deck, house, house roof, model stand and an interior layup that goes in the bottom of the hull to enclose the wiring. I will be modeling it with all the modern gear such as kort nozzle, bow thruster and direct drive gurdies. Let the fun begin. Jerryj98501

The kit looks like a great surrogate for the long gone Dumas Thompson Trawler.
Is Ron's line still available, or did I hear that Loyalhanna picked up the molds?

Patmat, Loyalhanna did pick up a number of Burchett's molds a year or two ago, these delivered ny Ron himself, but I don't know which ones they were---.

I don't beleive this is one that went to Loyahanna. This is one of Rons favorites and beleive he or Gary King now has it since they just pulled a couple off her last month. Scale and shape way to big for the Thompson Trawler as the troller poles on this are in at 44" alone!
