I just pulled the trigger on a Naza H & GPS with BEC.

I'm ripping a Co-Pilot II off my Trex 500 to install the Naza H.

Any tips or anything I should be aware of would be awesome.

I want this setup mainly for FPV and scale flying.

RTH & Autoland/Takeoff would have been the icing on the cake. Looks like DJI have dropped support for this product ?

auto land/takeoff be a horrible idea for a helicopter. Ground res. being the worst case it could create. Landing in "tall " grass be a bad one too , once the tail rotor gets swamped. Inherent "lean" that heli's have also could create a landing or takeoff issue.
Only thing i ever found with this controller is don't expect to be 3-din' it. You can do mild 3-d, but DON'T go trying to do piro tic tocs or anythingHAHA

For scale /FPV/video, i'd think this to be a great device for any of those.

Got the big bird out about half a dz times and am loving the naza h. A few points to counteract drift in atti mode, rotated the puck slightly to compensate for geomagnetic data in az, tweaked autopilot gains to get rid of a tiny bit of oscillation. Tail very solid. Running govn independent at 1600 roughly which puts me at about 76%, loving the long flight times
