FBL controllers

Is there a FBL controller that allows the user to program
the unit with a lap-top , like the Castel link does with their
controller? I have bin reading the directions
on a BeastX ; afraid i'm too technically challenged to do it. Even
asked several people if the USB interface allows for the use of
a computer for programing and received different answers on
that as well, some say yes some say No ? Guess i'm stuck
with my Fly-bar-unit for now !!

The Skookum SK540 is what you want. It has a fantastic PC interface. You can save your setup and share it with friends. Skookum provides several setups to choose from to get you started. It also has setup wizards that dive you step by step instructions. It’s the easiest to setup of all the FBL systems.

CX 3x1000 is a cheap zyx clone and I'm even using a modified zyx program on it.

I've lived with myself for 60 years now ; i Still get surprised
each time i get tricked into purchasing something something
without doing proper research First !!

Read this and there is a notation in there where, if Anyone should
know -- more than myself -- that Assuming just because a design was
done by superior intellect, then it Must have the best in modern
day technology :

http://www.thekiteboarder.com/wordpr...e-billy-floyd/

NOT having the capability for a programmable inter-face is like
watching someone drive a car and Text at the same time, when we Have
voice actuated typing ; it's simply Stupid !!!

I would feel So bad about selling that BeastX to someone, that i decided
to simply toss it in the Trash.

I'll probably go for a Skookum SK540 for the money; and i Really appreciate
you-Guys time in correcting my ignorance !!

Thanks Bille ----- and i Really mean THANKS !!!!

The BeastX doesn't need any computer interface programming, and it doesn't need any trannie programming. I love it, and am flying mine with all the factory default settings.

The BeastX is ok for beginners but after you fly something like an SK540 you will see that the BeastX is just not in the same category. A better FBL controller will really improve your 3D skills and speed up learning.

The BeastX does not require a PC interface, but it supports it with a USB cable.

The software interface is VERY easy to use, far easier than tweaking the unit without it.

Give it a try!

*** 84 pages of instruction.
*** Ya got exactly (1) button to push for programing.
*** There IS NO lap-top interface for the purpose of placing
your perimeters on a computer screen, like the Castle, then enter.

WHAT part about THAT is Easy ?

Should have researched First ; next up will be the Skookum SK540
BUT
i'll know every detail about this unit Before i part with my money !!!

I nearly got booted-off that forum yesterday ; the moderator
didn't like my tone.

My Bad-mood is coming from from the
fact that i haven't flown a hang glider or kite boarded yet
this year and i had to do an Auto with my Tx-450se last
week cause the controller conked out in mid flight. If you
knew just how Bad i am at flying a RC helicopter, you'd
know why it was so traumatic ! Pure "Luck" i got away
with nothing but a bent landing gear !!

UAH -- mind if i hang out with you-guys for a while ?

BeastX is sweet. I program them at home and at the field with sticks. The manual is good, and I find the programming easy. Of course my into to FBL was with the Tarot ZYX, so take that into account.
