Just purchased a Dynam Meteor. Without going thru all 231 pages, can someone tell me what I need to look for when building the plane. Any Changes needed to be done. I have built several Dynam planes and they always need something done. Thanks, Les

I built mine bone stock, mostly so that I would have some comparative reference.

Now a good 30+ flights on her and, to be completely honest, do not see anything I need to change. Tried it on a good 5s batt, saw some speed improvement but nothing earth-shaking. Judgement call to be certain, but didn't think the added weight of the 5s justified the work to get it balanced and the added stress the weight would eventually bring to the landing gear.

I have other stuff to go fast, faster than this does by a bunch. But this plane tracks so well, flies so nice, that I don't feel the need to bump it up at this time. Everybody sees things different; but it is my opinion that, out of the box, this plane flies very, very honestly.

It only really needs the "Elevator Travel mod".... to allow full unbinded travels of the vertical control arms they use. Hack away the foam there.

I never had the Dynam retract version, and their retracts tend to have issues - but some work totally fine. So just leave those and find out - you may never see a problem on yours.

Other than that it is very well designed and implemented, and has no other issues as it comes.
A very good value, budget sports jet!!

is there a V2 kit somewhere to buy?
I'm looking to get an RClander hawker hunter for a 6s madthrust setup but I don't seem to be able to find something good in Europe.
so my second option is to build one of these for me this time. (done 3 so far for others)

oldsneakers,

On that flight I was using a HD808 #16 Keychain cam. I also use the Mobius cam.
