Easysky B17 RTF

The Easysky B17 is mentioned in other threads (P38) with very positive comments. Mine was 119.00 BNF from vendor X. Amain.com has the B17, P38, and FW 190 for 89.00 RTF. I have the B17 and the P38. I have flown them indoors and outdoors. I am super pleased with both. Easy hand launch, way cool ROG's, scale landings, and drool inducing low flybys. Also, counter rotating props and thrust vectoring with rudder! HK has a youtube of Mike Wargo doing 3D with this plane! Posted comments of Easysky vs. Eflite and it's like Eflite brought a knife to a gunfight. Now....if I could just figure out how to fly a whole squadron from one Tx...

I've been waiting for my new silver Easy Sky B-18G with an extra day for Memorial Day. Well today it was due to arrive. I checked first thing this morning and it was on the USPS truck for delivery. I had some things to do with the wife this morning, I even took the wife to lunch. But when completed we went home. Sure enough there sat the box on the front porch. With great excitement I put the F-`50 in the man cave, ran to the front porch and grabbed the box. Put it on the bench, when through a race looking for my knife to open the box. And there it was. A brand new in the box p-38???????? What the !#$^. Where's the B-17G, I got a P-38 (Fly Zone). Great plane, I love it but where is the B17G with the 8.5MM motors!!!

There's an error here and it's not me!!!

I did some quick honey do's then got on the phone to A-Main hobbies!

They were very nice, looked my order up and sure enough I ordered a P-38?

So next I'm thinking it's a computer mess up. I checked everything and all is working correctly. So bottom line is I must have miss queued here!

I called A-Main back and phone ordered and B-17G. Due here at my man cave on June 3rd.

Meant to be...?

That is the Easysky, not the Flyzone P38. I thought I really wanted the FZ but that was just as they were killing that airplane. The Easysky is a much, much nicer P38 plus you get thrust differential and can turn off the AS3X from your tx. The commuter gods knew what they were doing. I've flown mine indoors and out, great flyer. BTW...did wifey buy your story? I might have to try that one? Amain is turning out to be some pretty good folk.

7th Easysky plane

2 Skyeasys (HK), 2 Wilgas (I LOVE this airplane!!), B17, P38, and I'm working on the 555mm Cessna 182. The 182 wing has molded in flaps, one knife cut away from being hinged. I have 2, 3 gram servos installed and the linkage glued in with most of the engineering figured out. I am taking pics during the build and will start a thread once its done. My next indoor meet is June 26 and it should be ready. My next Wilga (waiting in the box) might get 2 servos and drop hinges on flaps?

I think you need bigger wheels, those look very ugly

FieldofDreamsFlyer:

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

Sense you’re a coinsure of fine wheels what size would you pick. Of course I like the ones that I put on the P-38 but I would like you opinion (Maybe)?

I have all black stock wheels, small, medium, large and extra large?

Yes, sad indeed if true. Who was the "Easysky" you talked to?

My Easy Sky B-17G showed up today. Got it balanced and bound to the DX6. I'm very surprised that it's that much bigger than Horizon Hobbies B-17G. It's real nice looking, good built quality but the main landing gear are just to long. They really look funny. Think I may look into that.

As luck would have it I have seven (7) extra 500 mah 3.7 volt 25C batteries. The wind is very slight right now but I think I'll wait for early morning when there's no wind at all.

The only thing about it was the ailerons were reversed?? My Easy Sky P-38 was perfect?
