Hartman Douglas Greg Tug Boat

I have this kit (Serial # 215) still wrapped in newspaper dated Decatur, Ill-June 20th, 1981 complete with every conceivable option available at that time - polaroid photos, full scale plans-you name it, I probably have it. I would appreciate any comments as to value. Would Ebay be the place to sell it, or ?
Thanks,

There or in the Classifieds, Boats (FS/W) forum.

You've been a member since June '14 but your only post since that time is a question about selling a boat you could have been building all this time.

What's the deal with that?

Just a guess-

PROBABLY just joined, like several others have, so he could get experienced answers, to questions just like this. The guy's that are trying to make money in the buy/sell game, have figured out, that the old timers on RCG, know a lot of stuff. But, if they don't join, they cannot ask these questions!

Thanks CaptCB !I joined RCGroups to get experienced answers related to an interest my sons had in flying rc helicopters. I purchased the tug way back when as a future retirement project. I'm now semi-retired but still lacking the time (or desire ?) to tackle the tug. Time to pass it on !

Oh, I know that. The old timers here do INDEED have the answers. So 'BUMP' to that effect.

This Hartman tug kit has a fiberglass hull, is that correct? Can you post some pictures of your kit (and kaboodle)?
Here's a finished one I think:

Jerry,

Than I guess, you are not one of the bad guys. But, we have so many people that ask for information, and a current estimated value of an item, so they can put it on ebay. Usually, they do not even offer it, to the RCG guys first. When someone is new, "as was pointed out above," and their first post, is a question about an items value, so they can post it on ebay. What would you assume??

Hartman moel boats are now made and sold by Loyalhanna Dockyard, after having been acquired from the Hartman estate after his passing several years ago.

Thats a picture of my tug I built years back!
Jerry you have a kit that was made my Dwight Hartman himself, I have two of these kits on hand for myself and will not sell them for they cannot be got anymore the way he made them!
I would say it should be worth about $400 or more for the complete kit may go higher to the right person that knows what it is!

Dwight was a good friend of mine, miss his work dearly!
