150 Gramm more than a electric system, but I have heard, the little Beauty needs noseweight.

Is there anybody here who has tried this before. Is the structure strong enough?
Many thanks in advance.

If you search youtube you'll find a gasser E-Flite Stearman or two.

I can fly over 10 minutes on a 3s 3300 even longer on the 3s 3700s. I have added 5.25 of weight to mine is all. Jeff…….

I'd suggest you spend a little time fuel proofing the forward structure.

What a brave soul!
Nice job on the installation.
Having switched from glo to petrol on my other aircraft (thanks to Saito)
I'll bet diesel doesn't put out much fuel residue either.

sure thing I thought this was pretty neat but I'm not a gasser just a geezer.
I always like listening to the diesel motors that are being sold at Perry GA, can't wait for one of your flying videos.

E-Flite PT-17 Stearman (4 min 8 sec)

I´m completely happy

Yikes... kids, don't try this at home. Point the spinny-thing AWAY from you when you are running the motor! Multiple lacerations to your wrist are probably a bad thing.

Love the sound!
We don't hear many diesels running around Stone Mountain. (except in the pickup trucks)

Congratulations on a great maiden flight.
