Wanted to buy some stuff from HK today and up popped the offer for a free P40 kit worth nearly $300. I was going to spend at least $150 with them anyway so added the offer to my shopping cart. It was only when I went to the checkout though that it told me that the P40 is too big to ship to the United Kindgom so that makes the offer impossible for me to get. What bugged me even more though is that the exact same P40 is available from the UK warehouse and so are all the other bits I wanted but the free offer is only available from the "Global" warehouse!

Total waste of my time and puts me off ever shopping with HK again.

I can sort understand your frustration but why didn't you just check the items you wanted in the UK warehouse first,or was it because you wanted the free gift that you went to order it from the international warehouse,not that i blame you because i might of tried the same thing as well.

Some people don't under stand but you still have to pay for the shipping on the free gift,which is still a good deal in my book because if HK is going to give a free gift with an order over $100 order or what ever it is now,we can't really expect them to pay for the shipping too.

I wouldn't let this get to you to much though and if you check the UK warehouse first you will be better off next time,with your time and money as i doubt you can get a better deal else where.

That's the thing though..You can't mix and match items from different warehouses in the same order. So say I wanted to spend thousands of dollars with HK but the items I want are in different warehouses, I'm stuffed... or more to the point, HK is stuffed because I have no choice but to cancel my order.

Yeah i get what your saying but you said all the items you wanted were all in the UK warehouse,so thats why i said what i did.

Think about how hard it would be for HK to mix and match orders from there different warehouses,it would be a night mare i'd of thought,if you need something just check out your local warehouse first if it's there alls good,if not just go to the international one,well thats what i do and i still say i get the best deals form them than any other RC place i know of.

Freebies are what they are, free. Its not false advertising, they list the exact specifications/rules on their site/forum. If the courier wont ship a package because its too large, how is that on hk? Plenty of others scored the freebie just had to fill their cart with smaller items. It sucks that you couldn't get the free plane, but its in no way "false advertising". I have at least 10 freebies from the International and the US warehouse and there are others who have waaay more than myself.
