Good luck!

Can someone tell me the CG for the 50mm T-45? It appears to be 50mm from the LE of the wing, according to the manual, even though the pic has the CG symbol on the leading edge. Thanks in advance for the help.

This is the 35mm forum...and it sounds like you are looking for the CG on the 50mm version. CG for the 50mm T-45= 36mm from leading edge back to 45mm from the leading edge.

No problem! The important thing is that you got the info
The 50mm T-45 is a great flying bird...and actually one of the more forgiving as far as CG range. Enjoy!

Just got the nano jets bug again, so I took my old Mig 15 and fixed her up from her last "flight" last year, plus I bought my third Sabre airframe (the first 2 are...gone). Can't wait for the weekend now! I am running the Sabre on 3S and the Mig on 4S, they are awesome!

I archived all the info. Thanks again!

I put a Don's 4s set up from a retired F-16 in the T-45. The T-45 likes it!

The only 35 I have is the Mig 29 on 3S. I need to replace one fan unit in it. That side slips occasionally so the plane goes inverted at will. Some fun!

Well, I ran a couple of batteries today in the Mig, with not so satisfactory results. It was a bit windy, bit nothing scary, and even at full throttle she was struggling hard to fly decently. It was like she was back on 2S, very disappointed. Maybe 4S is the way to go?

I don't have the Mig...but on 3s it should move out OK. LiPo's are good? Fan balanced? CG OK?
I am running a 3-blade and a 5-blade fan in my two F-86's both with thrust tubes and with 3S 460mAh 40C's. The F-86's are fast with this set up (no tanks).

Yep lipos are fine, this is a setup I have been running for almost two years now, so I am confident that the fan is still balanced, but I'll check it out. CG is where you might be on the money cause from 3S to 4S there is a significant balance change, and she looked to be a tad tail heavy when on 3S. Thanks for the advices, hopefully I'll sort her out!

So, I flew the MiG 15 again yesterday, together with the Sabre. Both have the same setup, but the Sabre on 3S is ballistic, while the MiG is still a pig.
Now I reduced the exhaust diameter of the MiG and cut a cheater hole in front of the fan and tomorrow I'll test again...we'll see..

Interesting! I figured the two might be closer, but I guess with the intake splitter in the mig...might be draggy, plus as you mentioned, the proper exhaust diameter is critical.
Godspeed!
