No... and its easy enough to make up a simple or complicated arrangement of lighting as a harness using led lights that come supplied with resistors ...see ebay for the led sets that run from 12v..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3mm-Round-...item1c3538b357
they work just as well on 3s or 2s lipos..

making a harness lets you arrange the colours as you like , and the exposed led bulbs shine out in all directions.. so they shine through the fabric as well as out from the fabric...

note the led self adhesive strips are more common these days, but these don't let the light shine through to the rear of them, so only illuminate in the direction they face.. they are also a considerably more expensive option...
The link above is to 100 led 's plus resistors... that's enough for quite a few kites....

the harness is just glued to the fabric using some cool melt glue.. see post 1186 and it runs ok off whatever size lipo you use for the kite..
you need to make a Y lead to plug both the esc and the harness into the battery

the heavy part of the harness is the wire, so find some light thin wire for the job... the enamelled copper wire is the thinnest, but it needs care when removing the enamel for soldering.
I stripped some telephone extension cable for its wire and an Ethernet cable.. that's thin and plastic covered..

I ripped my old wired mouse for the thin wires since mostly Wireless mouses are the trend.

I power my LEDs through the RX and i find it has been a good idea so far since the output is about 5VDC. A 100Ohm Resistor is required for each LED bulb. Lots of soldering though.

you have a few choices...
direct from the main battery..7.4 or 11.1v. using a Y lead...always on when plugged in... uses the led and resistor sets for a 12v setup, Ive previously mentioned

from the receiver... needs a different resistor as above...

and from a brushed speed controler... if you want to be able to turn off or dim areas or all of the lights

These kites are not for sale and are use specifically in aerial performances for events only.

Thank you.

ok thanks.

layang if you are from gfk i have a question for you. i am flyng gfk cutie kite now days. and boy it flies much better without extension rods on the side. i am using both 800mah to 1000mah 2s lipo and gives 6-8 mins flight time with total weight 225g.
i am having 2 problems:

1- led wires gets very hot sometimes i feel they might melt.
2- kite gives a yaw/rudder turn, how can i adjust it as there is no rudder channel. at slow speeds its ok but when i go to half/full throttle then orientation changes . also CG is normal.

thanks.
