Curtis is without a doubt an amazing RC pilot and innovator of model helicopter technology! Giving full credit to the man for long years of hard work and inspirational flying performances around the world! A fine human being to be sure.
All of the above having been said, I would be remiss not to mention a product put out under Curtis' name called the, "Total G". Only more that a year late beyond the promised release date and touted as the, "End all, be all" of flybar less helicopter flight controllers, it turned out to be a huge disappointment and such a flop that there are a relatively small number of successful users of the product. The thread on this forum goes hardly bothered with.
The unit in my possession is in the original box after crashing two very nice helicopters in spite of intense effort on my part to learn, understand, and make it work as advertised.
The only point I am trying to convey here is: [B]Don't get your hopes up and hold your breath waiting for this thing to hit a market near you very soon.[B]
If you want one of these things, build it yourself.
Frankly, other that the ability to go sustained inverted, there isn't much this thing can do that cant be done with a well setup ACRO Quad.
My two cents.
BTW, I still admire Curtis, at least he will talk to you like a person and treat you like an equal when he does!

I am guessing you are new to CP helis.
I have had many Total G's and ALL worked as advertised.
I have 1 on my Rave 450 now.
I also have the Stingray you say not to hold your breath waiting for.
Its been on the market so you should do a little research before spreading rumors.

Sorry you had such a bad experience with the Total G. We learned a lot from the Total G and tried to apply what we learned to the TG Multi, it is a completely new unit top to bottom. It is much simpler and requires almost no setup, compared to the Total G.
On the Total G we also really messed up on the initial instructions and interface. Making it confusing and giving far too many options. That left a lot of people confused and frustrated. Connecting satellites directly to the Total G was also initially a problem for many that caused lockouts. We sorted through that, but it took a while. With the TG Multi we knew not to do satellites direct to the unit.
In the end we got the Total G firmware working pretty well and there is a good group of people out there now, many that bought them cheap aftermarket, that still fly and enjoy them. But I have to agree it was not a big success for the reasons above.
I hope you will give us a second look despite the bad experience.
