I wonder if there is any circuit protection if they get stuck? TW

Wonder what the quality is like, from what I've read on their air retracts it's sort of 50-50 between those that liked them and those that didn't. Because of that I went with Sierra Giant Scale on my ESM Skyraider

HM, Wasn't the quality issues do to air leaks? Or were there other problems?
I have high hopes for these retracts. Time will tell. TW

They seem to slow to retract and if you need to land right away those gears will still be coming down

Everything I read said to ditch the air accessories and replace it with robart or similar, but also saw a lot of post about the gear getting sloppy over time and issues with the wheels seizing up on the axles. On the other hand I did read a number of posts of people that were pleased with the gear.

Wow...
Yes they seems slow for my taste.
Other than that and for the price...

I wish Darell will introduce electric retracts as well

It would be good if they could get them in the 5 to 15 second range. Doesn't look like they stop if they bind on something though. Or if they do he didn't hold against the retract long enough to trigger the overload protection. Still for the price including struts and wheels they look like a good potential option.

Hi

I have the ESM P-40 50cc with ESM rotating AIR retracts.

I have looked at Troybuilt "electric upgrade kits Gen-2" and on the LADO RC666C, but I am very unsure if it will work.

Anyone know how to upgrade these to electric retracts ????

You can always buy the new ones when they come back in stock. They are expensive though.

Down and Locked also does conversions and might be cheaper than the new ones from ESM.

Hi, I have a problem with the V2 version. I am in the final stage of the assembly of my PC-21 and the front leg just stopped working. I have opened the retract and the gearbox has failed. Does anyone know where can I get a replacement gear box?

The funny thing is that almost immediately after the V2 was launched V2.5 was introduced which has upgraded gears and some other things ...
