The airplane is an awesome flyer and is nicely built. Super stable with a huge speed range.

The speed control

Why not place the speed control behind the motor and fan? most of the
120mm fans have the ESC in the flow of air to keep it happy.
I will have to see how this works out...

Man... some people just don't get it. It's a large 120mm jet with full retracts. How is that expensive?? Just because you might not be able to afford it doesn't make it expensive.

I will have to see how this works out with the first victims, I mean customers...

P. Richards aka SwatTeam
Victims, really? We have tested both in and out of the duct with the ice 160 and have not had any issues either way. Does the esc run cooler in the duct? Yes. Will it catistrophically fail if outside the duct as you are implying? A resounding NO. So long as you have sufficient margin for the amps rating (which our system has), there should be no problems. Do I plan to put the esc partially exposed in the exhaust duct of mine? Sure, because running the esc cooler is always a good thing. but that doesnt mean that all of a sudden airplanes will be falling out of the sky if you don't.

Chris,
The model size looks promising and practical. Are you going to add some dihedral to the wings? looks too flat to me. Nonetheless looks decent....leads me to ask, anyone want to buy primed ziroli/pst kit bashed panther from me??

Yeah, the flat wing would be my only complaint...though, it doesn't bother me enough to modify the wing attachment to increase it (though, it will get a new paint job). There is a little dihedral, but far from enough. Actually pretty much every panther arf and a number of kits out there fall short. The full size airplane had 5 degrees dihedral in it.
