AS3X P-51 vs Spitfire

Just a quick question for those who have experienced both. I have a Horizon Hobby 15% off coupon that is too tempting to ignore, but I don't know exactly what to get. I have the UM P-40 and am utterly disappointed in its performance. I in fact enjoy flying my V1 P-51 and UM T-28 vastly more, even in high wind. I'll allow that the P-40 is the stinker of the lineup. So my question is, is the performance of the P-51 and Spitfire closer to that of the V1 P-51 than a lead balloon (also know as a UM P-40)? And between the two, V2 P-51 and Spitfire, which is the more aerobatic aircraft?

Thank you for your assistance.
