Brand New 10XP charger issue

I have a brand new 10xp which despite reading the manual several times, I can not get to work with my Turnigy Li-po packs. I'm using the cp10s-gp/k06s and the cp-gp/ko adapters. No matter what the node wiring setting is, I get a bad S. count error every time. I have a older 10S charger when used with the above adapters and same packs, works every time no issues. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

What wiring mode are you in? Should be in FMA wiring mode for those adapters. From the manual

Special Button Operation:

Press and hold MODE button while applying power to access and scroll the Options menu: CHOOSE SPLY AMPS, LOWS SUPPLY VOLTS, NODE CONNECTOR, QUIET CHARGING, Exit. Use the Options Menu to choose input amps limit and supply low voltage setting (Power Management feature), alternate between FMA or XH balance wiring schemes, and set quiet charging (no speaker beeps during charging).

Did you connect the main leads? The 10xp can not node charge while the 10S can.

As Gregor99 said, if using a FMA adapter you need to be in FMA wiring mode.

Hi,

Also, for 2S - 5S packs, only connect the RJ1 pigtail to channel 1 and do not connect the 2nd pigtail from the adapter to the charger. If you connect both pigtails to the adapter for 2S - 5S packs, the charger will error. FYI - the plug blocker is not compatible with the 10XP.

Thx but no go

Thank you for the responses I received. However, I had covered those issues before I posted and I indicated that I had tried the node wiring settings both of them for shits and giggles. Unless I'm using the wrong adapters, which I don't believe I am, there's something else a miss. It still could be me though. I emailed Revolectrix tech support for help also.

What Howard said seems the most likely issue. Did you connect both wires from the board to the charger or just one?

Save everyone some time and post a couple pictures of everything connected.

Here are the pictures of mine.
Just got two 10XP chargers replaced.
Opened one and hooked up.
FMA note or XH node doesn't matter.
Ch1 Bad S. Count Note wiring FMA, or XH

Pack is 3s 1000mah hooked up to only one port with one board (GP)

Charger has 1226 printed on the bottom.

Going to try the 2nd charger.

On the charger, move the red charge lead to the far right banana jack.
