Good wing for a Stryker Power Plant?

As the title suggests, I'm going to be retiring my F27Q and want to move the parts to another flying wing. I'd like to buy a stable flying wing, more of a soaring/gliding wing than a speed demon. The Zagi looks like a good choice but I'm not sure if the motor mount will work with an outrunner. Are there any others that would work well?

Just for reference the motor is a Parkzone 480 2200kv motor and weighs in the neighborhood of 100g. I'll also be using the digital servos and the 40A Eflite ESC from the Stryker.

I LIKE RITEWINGS

36' demon would be fast

40" demon light would be fast and stable

44" IYF would make a great combination speed and glide and stable

Don't forget the TL50 Ritewing! I think it would be perfect.

Just use a piece of right angle aluminium that you can buy from the hardware store to adapt the outrunner to the standard Ritewing plate mount.

PS: Just check your motor specs again, I didn't think Eflite did a 480 outrunner with a kV that high?

The motor is actually a Parkzone 480 2200kv. I'll definitely be wanting a bigger size wing because I just put in an order for a Drift HD camera. It's around 120-140g with all the mounting goodies, so some more wing area would be nice to keep it gliding decently.

Thanks for the advice, I'll check out Ritewings!

I've just put that motor on my slipstream wing from flyingwings.co.uk - it's a 1 metre wing.

i ended up making a new bulkier mount out of a big lump of EPP with a bit of lite ply to screw in to.

whacked a 60 amp esc in. In order to balance I had to put in a 4s 3300 lipo!

have only tried 1 brief flight- decided I needed to beef up the wing a bit, so last night i filled in one of the holes i' previously dug for wiring and sunk a new CF spar in it.

will take it out again when i get the chance and see how fast that baby goes! it's a lot heavier than it was, but a lot more powerful too.

Cool, thanks for the links. I'd never heard about fastflyingwings.com but they have some nice looking wings for very good prices. The Guillotine 32" with a power pack is only $85!
