Hi Daryl, it was a great run by Jeroen. I was doing safety line duties near Base A, his launch was real high and when he went past crossing for the last time he was really moving. Definetly a great sub 13 second run.

Based on the posted scores the two times given for that run were 12.94 and 12.44 which average to 12.69.

Wow 12.44!

Are all the speeds on the list an average of two runs?

Amazing! Congrats!

Eric,
The results on the list are that of two stop watches for each run which is then averaged ... hence the 12.6. Imagine averaging the radar speeds of one particular DS session instead of taking the fastest from a particular gun. Note the variation between the times for each competitor. Most of them are faily close but Jeroen's run was 0.5sec difference. (which is still just a snap of the fingers)

Thanks for clarification David. I thought it was amazing to do a 12.94 and back it up with a 12.44.

Hi all

Just to ad the new Chilean F3b speed record.
Cristian Simon flew an amazing 13:84 s speed with his Freestyler III yesterday.
The previous record was 14,8 and was stablished 10 years ago.
The flight was in an official contest and it was recorded
Kind regards

Andres

Congrats Christian.

I am out of touch with the Europeans and the Aussies this year. I think Andreas Herrig flew a 12.xs this year.

If you want your results on the list, please help me out and post them here!

Seems like the list may need to start tracking just sub 13 second runs!

(BTW Dave Klein and Mike Smith had thirteen second runs at the team selection - Dave had a 13.65 with the FS4 and Mike had a 13.55 with the Precision)
