Ill take your word. Im done with San Juan...not to bad considering it's the first one I've made out of a Kit box, but there is room for improvement.

I think I'll give this one a shot. Your model is an excellent guide to start out, and I do plan on following in your footsteps (with humbre respect, of course).

Congrats on the ship, one of the best I've seen with these characteristics, although, maybe, if you ever make another vessel, when you paint the hull, perhaps you could try an aerograph. I used it to make a couple of poster a while back, and the results it gives are much better and a brush. The paint is distributed very evenly and its very light.

Really beautiful

lucc,
SantT is beautiful, and amazing that it's all scratch built. I hope you post a lot of sailing pics and video.
I really like the carbon fiber sticks idea to keep the sails spread. They should work great.
And all your prototypical rigging is so great looking!!!
Congrats on a really great model.
Best,
Dan

me too!!....good luck!!.....will you be on the lake yourself, for a "just in case situation"?, or does your lake have access all around?
nice if i was younger and richer that i could get more involved in the sailing aspect of my ship...but i have to simplify.....
if i was a millionaire, i would pay for the transportation of the men and ships from everywhere, to a perfect location with great weather to create a public display or regatta.....everyone could arrange their vacation at the same time...ha ha.......would even arrange for a small orchestra for background music

no, it's just a small lake in a park, and there is a little boat if there's something going wrong.

yesterday the full RC done again

* instaed off 2 batteries (reciever + pump)> just 1 batterie.

the pumpbat. is 12V- 10Ah.

Batterie 12 V > ubec > 6V.

*mechanic for pump on/off remaked

old :

new :

*fuse10A placed between pump(7A) and batterie

*disconnect the + and - off the servo's on the reciever and connect them behind the Ubec

the high servocurrents can't harm the reciever anymoreWat nog te doen:

26 may maidentrip, i don't think so.

My elevator is not working safeproof and i don't know how to fix it.

when the platform is out of balance the wheels jaimed in the rails and the plaform get stucked.

Hi Lucc

Can you add some short, angled supports to the top with another set of wheels to maybe prevent it from going crooked? Short enough to not interfere with your ship of course.

I must see it sail!!!!

kindest regards
Tim
