Ps I have not had any bad issues with one controller on 5.12 (I always run a separete BEC for the FC and for the gimbal... I don't trust their PMU) however on my other controler it flies like SH*T comparatively so it's the brain...

It's a SHAME.

I was flying in 5.14A
I crashed because of a uncontrolable drift ( as many others on this form )...
I get back to 5.08.
I buyed DJI OSD.

When i mount it, unable to get values on OSD, because it not work on 5.08.
I was forced to upgrade on 5.14 to get a functionnal OSD !!

DJI, I don't want to crash with your new 5.14. But you forced me to 5.14 when i buy OSD !
Do you refund all my parts if i crash ???

Maybe someone has already said it, but 5.12 and flat octo with traditional Rx had flip issues. That's why 5.12a was released.

Oh bummer. I'm using 5.12a with CPPM on Flat octo and its been pretty good so far.

I worry about going to 5.14 without a full version update log from DJI.

Whats the difference between 5.14a and 5.14
Was any of the flight software changed?

ps : The artificial horizon is inverted. And it's not a green rectangle as we see in dji video. Its an horizontal line.
It flip right when you drift right
and up when you drift backward.

DJI : Its exactly the opposite. An artificial horizon must graph the ground, so it must flip left when you go right....

5.08 is the firmware i use. All the others show multiple flashing white lights, unstable flight characteristics, slow gps lock. I fly a Skyjib8 weighing in around 11kg's i can not afford to let this fall out the sky on someone.

I also have only used version 5.08.
Recently my hexacopter was with version 5.12 (Futaba S-bus receiver) and after turning while waiting for GPS lock, the hexa motors turning on and unexpectedly turned left without I even touching the radio, because the radio was on my side on the table. Broke two propellers. My friend and I got very scared and decided to return to version 5.08 that I had no problems.
I wrote to the DJI but had no response.

Granted, i only fly a Quad personally, but on 5.14, imho, mine has never flown or held in GPS mode so good, its actually a joy to use now, i also set up two hexas for a couple of people , those to were every bit as stable and held superb in GPS hold.

on the Hexas the gains were set @ 120 120 110 110, the quads are set @ 120 120 120 110.

all held nicely even in some wind i wouldnt normally fly in, so for me, very happy now with 5.14.

i wanted some questions answered though, concerning other matters, sent a mail to DJI, think that was two week`ish ago, but no response, which does make you think "do they care"
